Feedback from the ICTF Western Canadian Championships
On the 14th of May we had the pleasure to attend the Western Canadians ICTF-sanctioned TaeKwon Do tournament in the beautiful town of Jasper Alberta. We had the privilege of having Kwan Jang Nim Cariati VIII Dan, Kwan Jang Nim Stanley VIII Dan, Master Nathan Doerksen VII Dan and other senior black belts. Over 360 TaeKwon Do students from western Canada were in attendance. In addition guest competitors from Nova Scotia and Master Cariati`s son Joseph from woodbridge Ontario, competed in both patterns and sparring they all made it a very special day.
It was an absolute delight to the senior belts to see the students of the ICTF giving it their all in the ring in the name of TaeKwon Do. To note their respect to their senior belts is a true testament to the calibre of instructors that we have in the ICTF. When one thinks that it may not get any better we [the ICTF] take another step up the ladder to greater achievements. At every ICTF sanctioned tournament that we attend, we find that they are getting better and better and that is what makes the ICTF a true World Wide Organization an organization that we are proud to belong to.
Thank you very much gentlemen for your ongoing hard work not only as ambassadors of the ICTF and TaeKwon Do, but for all your work behind the scene to make this organization the best there is. Thank you on behalf of Mr Moretti V1 Dan and myself Mike Tuohy V Dan , and all the students at Tecumseh/Chinook TaeKwon Do Calgary Alberta.
